So, I have this listed under my links on the right side of my page, but I wanted to do an entry on it to make sure people have seen it.
For years, I have been visiting The Hunger Site as often as I remember, usually every day. Here's the basics. Large companies become sponsors on the site because they are guaranteed views and potential customers every time someone visits the page. Their payment for this service is to donate money for each click on the "Give Free Food" button. That money goes to two leading, nonprofit hunger relief organizations: Mercy Corps and America's Second Harvest. A mutually beneficial arrangement.
From the Hunger Site, you can also go to the Breast Cancer Site, Child Health Site, Rainforest Site and the Animal Rescue Site.
Once you click on the donate button, scroll down on the Thank You page for buttons to the other sites. Please please, bookmark these pages. It takes about 45 seconds to click on all five. You're under no obligation to the sponsors.
