Well ladies and gents:
Although I am a veteran of throat anomalies, I still must bow to the god-awfulness that I am now experiencing. I’ve been home sick for the last day and a half, and am only making a short appearance at work today. Hopefully, the antibiotics will kick in soon and I will be back full-time tomorrow. I will never again joke about my unused sick days, as I am sure that I was cursed by my own sarcasm. May the healthy be warned.
yuck. feel better little woman.
Posted by: jenny at March 3, 2004 03:58 PMWe should start a VOTA group -- Veterans of Throat Anomalies. From childhood I would get throat thingies two to four times a year. By college, the medical folks gave up on me and just decided to remove my tonsils and adnoids. Now I only get one throat thingy a year.
Anyway. We could have a mascot...a tongue depressor named...uh...how 'bout Presscot? Yes, and he can say depressant type things. His catch phrase can be "Like, gag me!"
And. His best friend will be a bottle of mouth wash named "Gargamel."
Hope you feel better sooooooon.
Posted by: neryssa at March 4, 2004 08:01 PMNeryssa, this was truly awesome. Presscot! Gag me! Oy. I nearly fell off my chair. Me thinks you could write a good blog yourself. Neryssa's blog. Hm.
Posted by: Kristen at March 5, 2004 01:00 PMI agree. I think Neryssa should join the Angel's gang.

Neryssa, you're seriously thinking about joining the Angels?
****happy dance with asterisks galore****
Posted by: julia at March 6, 2004 12:55 AMbut it takes me up to five days to think of witty and creative things, so i wouldn't be able to have an entry every day, and i would probably develop ulcers from the pressure of feeling like i've gotta be deep...or funny...or creative...or cute. Ow, ow, ow...ulcer...forming...now...
Posted by: neryssa at March 6, 2004 12:19 PMYou crack me up.
Posted by: kristen at March 6, 2004 01:07 PMNeryssa, you don't have to blog every day! We won't harass you!
(Oh wait. I probably would.)
