A la Julia, I am going to write about nothing much just because I want to write something.
My weekend was pretty bland. I saw Mystic River and Lost in Translation with Julia. Both were good. LiT was better the second time. Mostly though, I slept all weekend. I feel immensely guilty because the weather was so wonderful.
I was quite pleased with the LOTR Oscar sweep, even if it made for a redundant evening. I especially liked Julia Robert's and Nicole Kidman's dresses with Charlize Theron, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Jennifer Garner taking easy seconds. Can we just pause for a moment to ruminate on the wonderfulness that is Jennifer Garner. Poor thing spent her Valentine's Day with a bunch of movie weirdos instead of sexy Vaughn. (How is it that I didn't know those two were together in real life? And here, I was upset with Jennifer for leaving Noel, I mean Scott Foley.) I digress.
Kudos to Joe and Elizabeth of the Furay crew for helping me change my tire yesterday. Kudos to Dobbs for not making me pay for new one. (I had just bought new, expensive tires a month ago.)
It turns out that the excess of sleep is likely caused by my degenerating health. I have a horrible sore throat and intend to leave work as soon as I can finish some important tasks.
So I will end this quickly with one final thought: the clouds were moving unusually fast this morning.
I'm really, really scared that you didn't know Jennifer was with Vaughn! At least you know NOW, though, and that's the main thing!
