I've discovered that one pack of Sweet 'n Low can replace the three packs of sugar I prefer in my oversized tea mug. Hm. Who knew?
Posted by kristen at February 23, 2004 08:33 AM | TrackBackI, in fact, did know that one packet of Sweet 'n' Low can replace your three packets of sugar in your oversized tea mug. But might I suggest using stevia instead. It is an herb from South America that acts like a sweetener and won't give your lab rats cancer.

Yes, 'tis true. Stevia is quite great. But you might want to get the kind that has been very processed. It is white as opposed to green. This way it won't taste so "herby". Give it a whirl. It comes in packets (where it's mixed with maltodextrin so it disperses better and makes it easier to measure. Or you can get it in it's more concentrated form; it's cheaper by the ounce that way. Use it in beverages or on cereal (packets) or in baked recipes (concentrated). This is a great alternative to sugar (which also tastes good) or a chemical sugar (which pretty much tastes like a chemical version of ass).
