ST. LOUIS (AP) —
A series of controversial events has led to the breakup of a
powerful force in the blogging community. Julia Furay, formerly
of beanbagcentral.com, has taken the surprising step of buying
a domain name to become a web host herself.
"It's really shocking the way I've been treated," Furay
said in an exclusive interview. "I've had to deal with Cubs
fans and asterisk addicts and my site administrator refuses put
a stop to it. In fact, he's the worst of them all."
Furay denied rumors that her beanbag site administrator,
Christian Cosas (who also uses the internet aliases of 'c2' and
'c-squared') was also involved with the construction of the new
domain, furay.com.
"Oh, that's ridiculous. Did he tell you that? My new site
admin is someone completely different. I've never met him, but
he goes by the name of 'mister c' and I'm sure is far more
trustworthy than that Asterisk/Netspeak addict commonly known
as c2."
Cosas declined to give an interview for this story, but
he referred to Furay as "that [expletive] turncoat."
