about the author

N.B.: I revisited this bio after three years, and realized just how out-of-date it is. I want to do justice to the Christian Cosas who authored hole boy in 1996, so I won't update the bio here. If you really want to know who I am, you can visit my homepage.

Christian Cosas is an English student at the University of Missouri - Columbia. He works as a writer, designer, production assistant, and cartoonist at The Maneater student newspaper. He recently returned to writing and drawing his comic strip CultuRe Trap after a seven-month hiatus. He has taken comics classes taught by underground comics artist Frank Stack.
Christian designs and maintains "c is for...", his personal homepage, which won third place in Vivarin's 1995 "There's No Place Like Home Pages" contest. He has done some freelance web design for various internet companies in Columbia.
He is a practicing (although somewhat disenchanted) Roman Catholic and plays piano for three masses at the Newman Center in Columbia. He enjoys drawing, writing, music, Tori Amos, poetry, comics, and film. He is currently working on a scientific experiment to eliminate the human need for sleep.
Christian can be reached at holeboy@beanbagcentral.com.
